AxiomLab (“the Company”) processes personal information submitted through this website in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea (PIPA). This policy sets out what we collect, why, and the rights you have over that information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information only when you voluntarily submit it through the consultation request form on this site. The items collected are:
- Name
- Organisation (firm, lab, or institution)
- Role or title
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- The solution you are interested in
- A free-text description of your workflow, bottleneck, or desired outcome (optional)
- Consent to this policy
We do not collect cookies for tracking or advertising. Standard server logs may retain IP addresses and request metadata for a short period for security and operational purposes only.
2. Purpose of Processing
The personal information you submit is used solely for the following purposes:
- To respond to your consultation request
- To schedule the 30-minute working session
- To send the discovery memo and any follow-up communication you initiate
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your consultation request.
3. Retention Period
Personal information is retained for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose above, then deleted.
- If no engagement follows: personal information is deleted within one year of the last contact.
- If an engagement follows: personal information is retained for the duration of the engagement and for a further three years thereafter, in accordance with applicable commercial record-keeping obligations.
Upon request, your information may be deleted earlier — see Section 7.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party, except as required by law or compelled by lawful authority.
5. Processing Delegation (Outsourcing)
To deliver consultation request emails to our team, we use the following processor:
Processor: Web3Forms (operated by Statichunt)
Delegated task: Receipt of form submissions and forwarding to our contact inbox
Items transferred: The fields listed in Section 1
Country of processing: Outside the Republic of Korea (cross-border transfer)
Retention by processor: As governed by the processor's own retention policy; we request deletion upon termination of service
By submitting the form, you are deemed to consent to this cross-border transfer, which is necessary for the operation of the consultation service. If you do not wish to consent, please contact us directly at the email address in Section 9 instead of using the form.
6. Security Measures
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your personal information:
- All form submissions are transmitted over TLS (HTTPS)
- Access to the contact inbox is restricted to authorised personnel
- Access credentials for the processor in Section 5 are stored as server-side environment variables, not in the codebase
- Personal information is not used to train any AI model, internal or external
7. Your Rights
As a data subject under PIPA, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Request suspension of processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, please contact the data protection officer in Section 9. We will respond within ten business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be notified through the consultation channel where contact information is held.
